As
you may have heard, the demand for housing hasn’t slowed
down, if anything the pace has picked up. Real estate sales
for 2005 in Alberta, and more specifically in Central Alberta,
have exceeded figures from 2004.
We have an exceptionally strong
economy in Red Deer, low interest rates and a strong demand
for workers in the employment sector. At the end of the 2005,
year to date sales for Red Deer increased by 8.4% with 1680
residential properties sold in 2005 compared to 1550 sold
in 2004.
